After 25 years of performing as a bass player in the pop and rock scene, Johan decided to pursue a completely different musical direction. This involved exploration of new styles: Irish and Breton folk on flute and guitar, baroque music on the baroque traverse flute and Bossa Nova and Samba on the guitar.

Going solo with his own creations then became the obvious choice. The story and music performance, Impressions of a lost dream, is a fact. A recital of captivating Brazilian music under the name of João beckons in the near future. This will be a combination of original songs and his own work.

The website just-a-note.be has been designed to accommodate these and other initiatives.
